Last year we had 11 Thai children and for Christmas we had them swap names and we allotted 500 baht (roughly $15) for them to go select a gift for their person. They enjoyed the experience of choosing the gift more than receiving their own and we plan to do this again this year, only this time we have 25 Thai children. We've been asked multiple times already if there is a way to send gifts here and the truth is, anything more than a small package is just cost prohibitive.
